Copyright Policy & Infringement Claims

1. Originals Only
Every theme piece on Tesil (background, speech bubble, icon, splash, profile) and every finished theme must be the creator's own original work. We do not publish derivative work that copies someone else's intellectual property — existing characters, logos, fonts, photos of public figures, and the like.
- Every uploaded piece is reviewed by a person before it goes live.
- Each piece always credits its creator (the artist), and the rights stay with that creator.
- Tesil offers these pieces for curation and personal use within the service. We do not permit redistribution or commercial use that infringes a creator's copyright.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe your work has been posted without your permission, send us a report with the information below. We handle these reports in line with Article 103 of the Korean Copyright Act (request to suspend reproduction and transmission).
What to include
- About you: your name and contact details (if you are acting as an agent, evidence of your authority)
- Where the infringement is: the exact URL of the piece or page
- Evidence of your rights: a copy of your copyright registration, or anything else that shows you are the rights holder (original files, signature, posting history, and so on)
- What you are asking us to do, and an email address for our reply

How we handle it
- Receipt — We check your report and the evidence you sent.
- Review — We confirm whether the requirements are met, and ask for more information if we need it.
- Action — If the requirements are met, we take the piece down without delay and tell you the outcome.
- Counter-notice (reinstatement) — The creator who posted the piece may show evidence of their rights and ask us to reinstate it. From that point the parties may settle it between themselves, or go through dispute mediation at the Korea Copyright Commission or through the courts.
3. Notice on Kakao Trademarks
"Kakao", "KakaoTalk", and the related logos are trademarks of their respective owners (Kakao). Tesil is an independent creative curation site with no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or official relationship to Kakao or KakaoTalk. We use the phrase "KakaoTalk theme" for descriptive purposes only.
Tesil is operated from the Republic of Korea, and Korean law applies to this policy. This English page is provided for convenience; if it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version governs.
