About F1 Start Reaction Test

GGReflex F1 Start recreates the Formula 1 start sequence. Five red lights go on one by one — the moment they all go out, click as fast as you can. Jump the start and you fail.

How it works

  • Wait for all five lights to go out, then click.
  • Clicking before lights-out is a jump start.

Result: reaction time (ms). Free to play, no signup.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good F1 start reaction time?

Formula 1 drivers react to lights-out in about 200 ms; anything under 250 ms is an excellent reaction in this test.

What counts as a jump start?

Clicking before all five lights go out is a jump start (false start) — just like in real F1, it voids the attempt.

How does the F1 start sequence work?

Five red lights come on one at a time, then all go out together after a random delay. React the instant they go out.
