View Work →Five Kinds of Pieces
Tesil themes are made by combining five kinds of pieces: background, bottom bar, speech bubble, icon, and profile. A background is a portrait image, and 1080 × 2340px is recommended — one image covers both the home screen and chatroom background in common (on Android it's also used for the splash, the app's launch screen). A bottom bar sits behind the bottom tab menu, so 1410 × 147px fits best. A speech bubble is a transparent PNG at roughly a 5:4 ratio (about 320 × 260px) for the "my bubble" and "their bubble" slots — use one image for both, or add two separately. An icon is a 120 × 120px transparent PNG used for the 5 bottom tabs (Friends, Chats, Open Chat, Shopping, More) and the passcode screen dots; you can add a default look and a tapped look separately, or just one. A profile is a 400 × 400px square image. You don't have to fill all five slots — even a single background makes a complete theme.

Believing that even the smallest moments deserve to be remembered, he draws hand-drawn backgrounds, speech bubbles, and icons that bring a little warmth and comfort to your day. What You Can Do With Pieces
Every piece on Tesil is an artist's original work, and the copyright stays with its creator. Each piece is checked by a person before it goes live, and whenever you pick a piece on the Tesil home page you always see which artist it came from. You are free to use your finished theme yourself, but copying, redistributing or using it commercially without permission is not allowed.
