What is Trynkit?

Trynkit collects lightweight “just for fun” web tools — the kind you screenshot and send to a friend. Each one is a real, working tool with no downloads and no account. It's part of the Pong family of tiny tools and casual games.

What you'll find here

Trynkit is a shelf of small, silly, single-purpose web toys. Nothing here is trying to be a productivity tool. They come in three shapes:

  • Generators take something you type and turn it into a phrase and a card — a comeback, a Korean name, an excuse.
  • Calculators do arithmetic on numbers you supply and hand you back something you didn't want to know: how long you'll spend on hold, how many leaders you've lived under, what things cost the year you were born.
  • Quizzes score your answers and put you in a tier, with all the scientific rigour of a magazine at a dentist's.

How the tools work — and what they never do

Every one of these runs entirely inside your browser. That's not a privacy slogan, it's just the architecture: there is no server to send your input to, no account to create, and nothing is written down. Close the tab and it's gone. The share cards are drawn on your own device, and they only travel if you tap share and pick where.

None of it is AI. Every phrase, every name syllable, every excuse was written by a person and ships with the page in a file we can read. That means these tools can never produce something we didn't write — which for a comeback generator is a feature, not a limitation.

Most of them are also deterministic: they seed themselves from what you type, so the same input always gives the same result, and you can hand a friend the same input and get the same card. The one exception is the Roman Empire spinner, which is genuinely random on purpose — it takes no input, and a roll you can predict isn't a roll.

Who makes Trynkit

We're pongvn, an independent digital studio. We build small, fast, joyful things and we push against a web that has become heavy — pages that take seconds to load, simple tools hiding behind sign-ups, fun treated as an afterthought.

Trynkit is the toy shelf. The rest of the family: Toolio (a large collection of everyday browser tools), GGReflex (bite-sized reflex and reaction tests), and Tesil (a KakaoTalk theme builder). Same rules across all of them — fast, free, no sign-up.

If something here is broken, wrong, or you just want to argue with one of the results, the contact link is in the footer and a real person reads it.

Why it's free, and what we don't do

These are static pages. The work happens on your device, not on a machine we pay for by the hour, which means they cost us very little to keep online — and that's why there's no paywall, no "pro" tier and no sign-up wall in front of a toy.

There's also nothing to harvest. The tools don't ask who you are, don't have accounts, and don't send what you type anywhere, so there is no pile of user data here to sell even if we wanted to. We'd rather the trade be obvious: you get a small silly thing that loads instantly, and we get to make more of them.

Frequently asked questions

Is Trynkit free?
Yes, all of it. No sign-up, no accounts, no limits, no paywall.
Is anything I type stored or uploaded?
No. Every tool runs in your browser. There's no server to send it to and nothing is saved once you close the tab.
Are the results AI-generated?
No. Every phrase and name is hand-written and ships with the page. No model, no API call.
Why do I keep getting the same result?
Most of the tools are deterministic by design — the same input always produces the same result, so you can reproduce and share it. The Roman Empire spinner is the deliberate exception and is genuinely random.
Can I use the share cards anywhere I like?
Yes — post them, send them, put them in a group chat. That's what they're for.
Who makes this?
pongvn, an independent digital studio. We also make Toolio, GGReflex and Tesil.
